A Journey Begins

Everyone needed to start their journey somewhere. Sean decided to start his at the Krasnaya Raka Coast. It was a long, long way from home but the change in scenery was much needed. Today it was time to get into his first battle. Instead of staying in his ball, Blue would walk beside the boy. They would walk down the coast looking for a trainer to battle or even a wild Pokémon. Sean wondered how different a real fight would be instead of the video games he played at home, and there was only one way to find out.

The water rippled eerily in your presence. Suddenly...!

He appeared.

Simipour:

Sean and Blue would continue down the coast, walking at a leisurely pace. The cool breeze in the air felt good on his skin. Everything felt great but then Blue just stopped suddenly.  The boy looked around to see what was the matter with his Pokémon. “Blue what’s the matter buddy.” The turtle would start to point at the water and say “Squirtle, Squirtle, Squirtle.” in a rapid manner. It was the moment they have been waiting for since they got to the coast.

A blue monkey looking Pokémon would pop out of the water. This was great! He was looking to start his first Pokémon battle and now it was time. Although he wished it could have been against a more normal looking pokemon, this thing was had a dopey expression on it’s face like it was out of it’s mind. He should probably find out what it was. There was a second of fumbling as he tried to rip his pokedex out of his pocket. As he held it up towards the odd pokemon it would say “Simipour, the geyser Pokemon. It prefers places with clean water. When its tuft runs low, it replenishes it by siphoning up water with its tail.”

So now it was time to fight. Sean would look over to Blue and say, “Are you ready Blue?” The Squirtle would nod so the boy would say, “Use, tackle!” Blue would start to charge towards the Simipour, he was going going, and slam! They would both be knocked to the water. As they would get back up the Simipour seemed very angry now, any trace of his happy demeaner was gone. His arms would shoot at Blue with great speed as he started to scratch at the turtle’s face using fury swipes. The Squirtle would cry out in pain as this happened.  This was bad, very bad. Blue was taking a beating that had no end in site, Sean started to panic, this was a wild pokemon so he couldn’t exactly surrender, but he could keep going. He needed a way for blue to distance himself from the Simipour. “Blue use tail whip!”

The turtle would start to spin, his tail in the air. He was striking to end this fight. In one swift motion the fight would be over. Simipour was now laying on the ground with the standard feinted eyes on display.   Blue would rush back over to Sean in glee, but also in pain. He was pretty scratched up. That wasn’t too bad, and at least their fight ended in a success. Now it was time to find the nearest Pokemon center to get Blue all patched up.
